Jeff Johnson has worked in public policy for nearly 15 years. He has taught
political science and public policy since 1997, holding visiting positions at Marquette University
and Hendrix College, and a permanent position at Cameron University since 2004. During that time,
his research papers have appeared in journals such as the Journal of E-Government and the
Journal of Political Science Education, and he has been invited to present research at more
than 20 conferences and public lectures. Prior to becoming a professor, he served as a marketing
and research assistant with the Pomona Economic Development Corporation in California. He holds a
Ph.D. and M.A. in political science from the University of Wisconsin. He received a B.A. Magna Cum
Laude from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where he studied political science and
economics.
